“I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and I am dedicated to helping clients achieve their full potential by taking the step toward a happier, healthier life.”
Christine Henry, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
I’m a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with over seven years of experience supporting individuals through challenging and transformative moments in their lives. My professional background includes five years of experience in child welfare and two years of correctional counseling, where I developed a deep understanding of the impact that trauma, life experiences, relationships, and environmental stressors can have on an individual’s well-being.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and humanistic approaches to help clients better understand themselves, work through past experiences, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you recognize your strengths, and provide the support and tools you need to heal and reach your true potential.
Whether you are navigating trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional difficulties, or simply feel stuck, you do not have to navigate it alone. I am here to walk alongside you through the process.
Samantha Mertz, LSW
Licensed Social Worker
I’m a licensed social worker with a deep commitment to helping individuals heal from complex and often overwhelming life experiences. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, which means I approach every client with empathy, a focus on safety, and an understanding of how trauma shapes both the brain and behavior. With extensive experience working with individuals facing serious mental illnesses—such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder—I strive to create a therapeutic space that is both stabilizing and empowering.
My therapeutic style is relational, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic approaches to support emotional regulation, insight development, and lasting change.
Above all, I believe healing is possible when individuals feel truly seen, supported, and understood. Whether you’re navigating a recent crisis or working through long-standing emotional pain, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion and clinical expertise.
Grace Orama, LAPC
Licensed Associate Professional Counselor
Life can be full of surprises yet, hard to navigate, but I believe that we all have the strength and resilience to grow and change, and live a more fulfilling, meaningful life. Together, we work to know and understand what that means. Therapy is a challenging, yet warm process that entails self-reflection and honest conversation. It is important for me to create a space for you to feel comfortable and to encourage you to learn more about yourself and your needs at your own pace.
My goal is to help you reach your goals in a supportive, empathetic, and compassionate space where you feel safe, empowered and respected. I have found that when we learn more about ourselves and our mental health, we invite the power of knowledge that evokes change.
My approach to the therapeutic relationship and the therapy process involves concepts of Acceptance Commitment Therapy with a Strengths-Based approach. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and am trauma-informed.
My clinical background involves mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, personality conflicts, LGBTQIA, individuals with neurodivergent abilities, Schizophrenia and related, relationship conflict and more.
In my free time, I thoroughly enjoy exercising, baking and cooking, finding new or fun activities to do with my family.
