Courtney Alongi (she/her/hers), M.A., LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Courtney has had many different experiences over the years working in the mental health field. She has treated countless individuals for a variety of presenting concerns in various capacities. She is most passionate about helping adults work through grief, loss, adjustment or life event changes, boundary issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma. With this, Courtney attended a 2 day CPT (cognitive processing therapy) training in 2024 as well as a consultation group with the trainer for about 5 months after the training to assist in most effectively implementing CPT in her work with clients addressing trauma (if needed).

Courtney has a person centered approach and finds value to feedback informed treatment. Furthermore, she often works from a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) approach but she is also intentional about pulling from other theoretical orientations as a client may need to support their progress in therapy (specifically, she often may pull ideas from ACT or Acceptance Commitment Therapy and interventions from DBT or Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Courtney loves people and helping others reach their full potential. She works hard to be sure to provide effective, collaborative, and ethical treatment.

Outside of providing therapy, she also supervises other therapists, helping them become the best version of themselves. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, live music, being outside, and spending time with loves ones.
